RubyKaigi 2014 獎學金辦法

RubyKaigi 2014 將於今年的 9/18 - 20 日於日本東京舉辦‧本次由 Heroku、日本 Rails Girls 社群、Asakusa.rb 社群與台灣 Rails Girls 社群共同舉辦，將提供獎助學金給台灣的 Rails Girl 相關人士，以促進國際間 Rails Girls 的經驗與友誼交流。

活動日期

2014/09/15 ~ 22

徵選條件

• 年滿20歲以上，且護照在有效期限之內。
• 想要參加 RubyKaigi 2014。
• 可以英語或者日語溝通。
• 必須是 Rails Girls Taipei 的學員、教練或者是創辦人，學員必需完整參加過一次Rails Girls活動。
• 無法自行負擔或由公司、學校支援旅費者。

參加活動

通過徵選獲得獎助學金的入選者將被邀請參與以下活動（必需全程出席）：

• 9/17 Heroku 晚宴
• 9/18 ~ 20 RubyKaigi 2014
• 9/21 RubyHiroba (4th RailsGirls Tokyo)

獎助學金額與範圍

本獎助學金將提供 2 ~ 3 位名額。每位入選者可獲得最高 10 萬元日幣的旅費支助，用於參與 RubyKaigi 2014 以及其他相關活動費用，獎助學金支援範圍包含：

• RubyKaigi 門票。
• 日本台灣來回機票。
• 六個晚上的住宿費用。

獎助項目不含：

• 旅行保險。
• 日本當地交通與伙食費用。

獎助學金核銷方式

於日本活動期間，憑單據向贊助代表人，Heroku 公司的 Aizawa 先生核銷（Rails Girls Taipei不負責核銷事宜）

報名方式：

欲報名者需以英文或日文在以下的網址中填寫報名資料。

報名日期：

即日起至 2014/8/10 23:59（GMT+8），將會在 8/20 前通知入選結果。

FAQ

Q1: I’m not a girl. Can I apply for this program?

A1: Yes, this program is open for everyone who match requirements.

Q2: How/When I know result of selection?

A2: We will show result to you by mail after 2 weeks of due date. If you won, your name might show on RailsGirls Taipei’s blog or whatever.

Q3: Can I stay longer than 6 days by self payment?

A3: Yes. if so, tell us your specific arrival/departure date, to reserve flight ticket.

Q4: Can I join RailsGirls Tokyo as trainee?

A4: Maybe. You should submit request to RailsGirls Tokyo by yourself.
